Linux - NTP server setup


1) Edit the ntp.conf file and list the server candidates.
> vi /etc/ntp.conf server host1 server host2 server host3

2) Restart the ntpd server.
> etc/init.d/ntpd restart

3) Set other client times to host server.
> ntpd -g
